Delicate cleaning in process...the historic detail uncovered!

Delicate cleaning and restoration of the decorated cornice at our Grade II listed site in Chelsea.
Layers upon layers of paint were taken off to reveal the intricate plaster cornice details.

The specialist at work!
A silicone mould was taken from original parts for restoration of missing and badly damaged areas of the cornice.
Great original detail uncovered - 14 layers of paint have been carefully stripped.
