The interior design scheme for the Islington house ... light, warm, rough and simple!

This interior scheme will transform a Victorian former shop, now home to a family of three into a modern space.  A mixture of the old existing brickwork with concrete shuttering and add a refined industrial feel to the subterranean space of the ground floor area which is flooded with light through the newly installed rooflights. The exposed beams at the top level carry the scheme to the top floor while the translucent walls help to transform the overall feel of the space by helping light penetrate the deep and narrow plan of the building.

One has to prepare for the harsh winter months at the sea!
